Paying tribute to our fallen veterans is consistent with our mission to preserve and promote the traditions and history of the United States Armed Forces. Upon request from the family or close associates of a deceased military veteran, the North Georgia Veterans will provide a brief recognition ceremony and present a folded American Flag. This ceremony can be implemented any time during or after a memorial service or funeral at the discretion of the presiding official. The North Georgia Veterans also have established a Memorial Fund for donations in lieu of flowers at Memorial Services or Funerals to help local needy veterans and their family members.
